RESTRAINT SYSTEM PREGNANCY SURGICAL SHIELD

Tender body areas can be irritated by the seat belt restraint system. The belt may rub on implants, such as heart pacers, chemotherapy ports and defibrillators or sensitive body areas, including mastectomy scars, thoracotomy scars, appendectomy scars, laporatomy scars, chest injuries, skin rashes, and pregnancies. Areas with bandages and medications have also discouraged drivers and passengers from using restrain system belts.

This invention permits spacing away from these sensitive or physical injury areas by a bracket which is attached to the belt and supported on an annular pad or pair of pads attached to the belt. The shield is made of flexible resilient material designed not to hinder the effectiveness of the restraint system. This will be most helpful to many individuals so afflicted and offer comfort and relief.
