Swimsafe™ provides a desirable and effective swimmers training device for children. The invention maximizes safety under all conditions and progressively teaches proper swimming techniques, while reducing the amount of time necessary for training a child to swim. It prevents a child from immersing his/her head in the event the child is negligently left unattended. The trainer is easily manually controlled for close monitoring by an attendant.
